Mi, 20. Oktober
Théo Duboule 3io

Théo Duboule – electric guitar
Phil Donkin – Double bass
Fabian Rösch – drums

There is a certain ambiguity in Theo’s music that calls for introspection. The compositions are meant to be relatively simplistic, so as to leave the leading role to improvisation and to the present moment. The unknown and chance will also have their part to play, especially since this will be their debut concert.

Théo Duboule is a Swiss guitarist based in Berlin who performed with Mathieu Michel, Gerry Hemingway, Banz Oester and Ohad Talmor among others.

Do, 21. Oktober

victor fox – saxophone
pascal klewer – trumpet

EPIMH consists of Victor Fox (sax) and Pascal Klewer (trp) , two of the most upcoming figures in the young german jazz scene.

Fox and Klewer have worked as composers and bandleaders with artists such as Peter Brötzmann, Evan Parker, Alexander von Schlippenbach, Christopher Dell, Kit Downes, Christian Lillinger and Achim Kaufmann. Both played in the renommated Bundesjazzorchester, lead successful own groups (such as the Pascal Klewer Bigband, Fox/Kintopf), curated Festivals (222 Festival) , played with german radio orchestras (WDR + HR Bigband) and are both highly requested sidemen in successful projects (Structucture, Shaikh9, Aurora Oktett to name a few).

In their duo they research the boundaries of time, sound and form, based on formulas, graphic scores, sketches and free improvisations.

Fr, 22. Oktober
Lukas Akintaya’s HUES

Jeremy Viner – tenor sax
Keisuke Matsuno – guitar, fx
Simon Jermyn – electric bass, fx
Elias Stemeseder – synth
Lukas Akintaya – drums/compositions

HUES Album Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_QHvgvBO9A
From Far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kNyKJ0cif4

The Great Harry Hillman

Nils Fischer – Bcl
David Koch – Git
Samuel Huwyler – Bass
Dominik Mahnig – Drums

Celebrating «Live at Donau115» live at Donau115.

Im Sommer 2019 haben The Great Harry Hillman an drei hitzigen Abenden ihr aktuelles Live-Album «Live at Donau115» eingespielt.

Plague Fun: Corona Rules

Case numbers are low, but the bug’s still around so we will be taking many measures to make sure we’re all doing our part to end the pandemic once and for all.

Since September 18th we implement the so called 2G-rule at Donau115. This means only people with full vaccination or recovered people can come inside (2G = geimpft/genesen = vaccinated/recovered).

1: OUTSIDE: contact tracing – To join us outside, you must provide contact tracing information. We will keep this information safe for the required amount of time and destroy it with fire once that time has ellapsed.

2: INSIDE: vaccinated or recovered (a test is not enough) – To join us inside, you must provide contact tracing information as above. Additionally, you must provide proof of full vaccination or recovery, without exception. You cannot get in with a test (neither “Schnelltest” nor PCR-Test). Once you’re inside you don’t have to wear a mask anymore or keep minimum distance. Standing at the bar is also allowed again.

3: BE PATIENT AND FLEXIBLE- These rules are subject to change. We follow the directions of the Berlin Senate and when they provide new guidelines we will follow those. Always check the FB event or the website prior to coming to the concert to make sure you’re prepared for any government limitations that may have been imposed since last time you checked.
